‘Evil Dead 2’ Coming to 4K Blu-ray
Listen up Screwheads! Lionsgate Home Entertainment will be bringing Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead 2 to the 4K UHD format on December 11, 2018. The set will include a 4K UHD disc and a 1080p Blu-ray, and will contain all of the extras from Lionsgate’s previous Blu-ray in addition to a brand new featurette. Video will be presented in 4K Ultra HD with Dolby Vision HDR. Audio tracks will include English 5.1 DTS-HD, Spanish 2.0 DTS-HD, French 5.1 DTS-HD, German 2.0 Mono DTS-HD. Optional subtitles available in English, Spanish, German, and English SDH.
Synopsis:
Ash, the sole survivor of The Evil Dead, returns to the same cabin in the woods and again unleashes the forces of the dead. With his girlfriend possessed by demons and his body parts runnning amok, Ash is forced to single-handedly battle the legions of the damned as the most lethal — and groovy — hero in horror movie history!
