“Days of the Dead” Convention Comes to Chicago November 16-18

Horror fans in the Chicago area will not want to miss this November’s Days of the Dead convention at the Chicago Schaumburg Marriott. Among the guests scheduled to appear are Paul Sorvino (Repo! The Genetic Opera, Goodfellas), Meg Foster (They Live), Traci Lords (Skinner, Excision), and John Kassir (Tales from the Crypt).

Also scheduled for this month’s event are appearances by Halloween (1978) cast members Jim Winburn (“Michael Myers”), Nancy Loomis (“Annie”), and P.J. Soles (“Lynda”). Friday the 13th franchise stars Kane Hodder and Warrington Gillette (“Jason Voorhees”) are on the guest list as well.

Hellraiser writer/director Clive Barker will be in attendance, in addition to several stars from the Hellraiser films including Ashley Laurence, Simon Bamford, Nicholas Vince, and Barbie Wilde.

Another highlight of the show will undoubtedly be an exclusive photo op with actors Bill Moseley and Sid Haig (House of 1,000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects), appearing in costume as “Otis Driftwood” and “Captain Spaulding”.
