Brand New Trailer for ‘13 Fanboy’: Watch it Here

In the midst of a long, grueling legal battle surrounding the rights to the Friday the 13th movie franchise, a number of independent fan films based on the “legend” of Jason Voorhees have emerged. Several of these have featured veterans of the original series, and one in particular is the brainchild of a familiar face which you may remember fell vicim to a pair of garden sheers back in 1985.

The new slasher flick centers around a killer inspired by Jason Voorhees who takes his fandom a little too far when he decides to hunt down Friday the 13th actresses in real life. Writer/director Deborah Voorhees, who appeared as “Tina” in 1985’s Friday the 13th: A New Beginning, has put together quite an impressive cast for 13 Fanboy consisting of final girls, leading men, and various victims from throughout the Friday series.

The extensive list of Friday the 13th alumni who will be appearing in 13 Fanboy includes the following names:
