There are certain things that simply go hand-in-hand among the horror community. Some that immediately come to mind are heavy metal, beer, pizza, and…hot sauce. In fact, anyone who experiences the horror convention circuit in the US has likely spotted various hot sauce companies selling their product amongst a wide array of vendor tables.

This brings us to a “deeecent” new sauce that is guaranteed to add the right amount of spice to your favorite dishes. NYC-based Coney Island Saucery (formerly Hot Sauce Willie’s) has recently teamed up with the Trailer Park Boys to “bring a thrill ride to your mouth”. The organic, Louisiana-style hot sauce is made with all natural ingredients including fresh garlic, white vinegar, cayenne pepper, and a vegan butter substitute.

The long-running Canadian comedy series Trailer Park Boys premiered in 2001 and is currently available to stream on Netflix. Created by Mike Clattenburg, the show follows the misadventures of Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles as they attempt to stay out of trouble in between prison sentences. Trailer Park Boys‘ main cast is comprised of John Paul Tremblay, Mike Smith, and Robb Wells. Incidentally, Robb Wells also appeared in Jason Eisener’s 2011 film Hobo with a Shotgun starring the late, great Rutger Hauer and 2012’s Would You Rather with Jeffrey Combs. It’s also worth noting that Hobo with a Shotgun‘s female lead, Molly Dunsworth, is the daughter of the late John Dunsworth who played the role of Jim Lahey on Trailer Park Boys.

In addition to the successful TV show, the Trailer Park Boys also have several feature films under their belt as well as a newly launched animated series.

“We are very f***ing excited to have our own hot sauce coming from the Coney Island Saucery. It’s the decentest, most scrumpdilly sauce you’ll ever drive into your liquor soaked tongue cave.”
-Ricky, Julian & Bubbles
